Studio Policies

We are excited to help you succeed in your auditions and we are here to support you in all of your career efforts. In order to provide the smoothest experience for all of our students, we have implemented the following policies for the Studio.

Make Up Policy

  • For Intensive Classes, you can make up the class you missed in the following month the course is offered. Please take note of the class number you missed.
  • For All Ongoing Classes,  you must make up the class within the month you are enrolled. You have the entire month to make up the class. You can only work if an actor is missing from class. Only 3 actors can make up in each class and make ups record last.
  • We offer ongoing classes morning, afternoon and evening Sunday through Friday. We have online classes for you to choose from if you cannot attend class in-person.

Not Continuing Policy

The Ongoing Classes is a month-to-month commitment. You must inform the Studio Director (director@anniegrindlay.com) and your instructor via email before the 15th of the month at 9 AM.

Use the following format when submitting a Not Continuing Notice:

  • Not continuing, would like to be added to the waitlist to return to class
    • Your Name First, Last
    • Your Teacher & Class day and time 
    • Wait-list Include the month you are interested in returning to class
      • Example: Annie, Thursday 2pm, not continuing for September, waitlist for October
      •  
  • Not wait-listing
    • Your Name First, Last 
    • Your Teacher & Class day and time 
    • Not continuing
      • Example: Annie, Thursday 2pm

 

If you would like to be added to the waitlist please include that in your email. Our Studio Director will reach out to you when we’re putting the classes together.

Class Prerequisites

  • An Intensive class is a prerequisite for joining an Ongoing acting class. 
  • An Ongoing class is recommended after completing an Intensive class to keep sharpening the skills you’ve learned. 
  • The completion of any of our Intensive classes will make you eligible to join an Ongoing class. This does not include the Commercial Intensive.

Deposits & Cancellations

Deposits for Intensive Classes

  • We require a deposit to hold your spot in our intensive classes. The remaining balance is due on the first day of class.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

  • There are no refunds. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of this policy.
